Culture & Art - Private visit to Estonian National Opera

An experienced guide introducing parts of the opera theatre you would never discover by yourself

The program organized by the venue starts with the tour of the building and ends with a glass of sparkling wine and a short private concert from an Estonian opera singer

The Jugend-classicistic theatre building was the largest building in the early 20th century Tallinn. One side of the two-wing building was intended for a theatre and the other for a concert hall, as it has remained until today. Just a year later, after the outbreak of the World War I, the theatre building hosted military hospital. The balcony side of the concert hall was used as an Orthodox church. As the theatre hall had not been taken over by the military, the actors continued to play at their own expense.
