The organisers of the Value Based Healthcare - Tallinn 2021 Conference would like to thank our delegates and speakers for their support for the conference!

Conference presenters stressed out the importance of the topic, necessity for the the initiative on the state level and for cooperation of all stakeholders, also the importance of patient engagement. It is a great pleasure to acknowledge that there is a collective will in Estonia and across Europe to develop and implement patient-centered healthcare approaches.

Ms. Stella Kyriakides, Commissioner of Health and Food Safety said at the conference:
"Health might not be everything – but without health, everything else is nothing.
Now, we need to grasp the opportunity to build back better and make our health systems more effective, more resilient, and more accessible. For this, the patient experience should be at the very centre for what we consider successful health outcomes. We need to foster more integrated healthcare with an active role for empowered patients and more cooperation between informal carers and health professionals."

We hope that you found the conference informative and inspiring. Almost 1000 delegates from 60 countries registered to attend the conference.

The conference was co-organised by the Estonian Ministry of Social Affairs, Estonian Health Insurance Fund, Estonian Cancer Society, The North Estonia Medical Centre Foundation, Tartu University Hospital, European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) and the Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in Estonia.

Only the best is good enough!
