TUT Cyber Centre

On the 12th of November 2014, there will be held a festive opening ceremony of TUT Centre of Digital Forensics and Cyber Security. The creation of the centre is supported by European Commission through 2CENTRE Estonia project, project activities is coordinated by Department of Computer Science of TUT. Main occupation of the competence centre is to develope cybersecurity field in Estonia.

Main activities (services) of the centre are following:
  • R&D (applied research, development projects, basic research);
  • Technical advise (field experts of the network);
  • Academic education (Master's programs of TUT - Digital Fornesics and Cyber Security; PhD mentoring);
  • Training programs;
  • Informing the public of cyber security risks and know-how division.
Activities by TUT Centre of Digital Forensics and Cyber Security and strategies are coordinated by management of the centre, which consists of representatives of the partners (when it becomes known). Daily management of the centre is managed by CEO, who works for the rector of the Department of Computer Science of TUT.
