Biography: Dr. Ron Zagoria has over 30 years of experience in abdominal imaging and interventional radiology. He is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his Radiology residency and fellowship at Wake Forest University with a stent of interventional uroradiology training at the Massachusetts General Hospital. His main areas of research have been in renal tumor imaging and ablation, prostate imaging and urinary tract imaging techniques. He is a Vice Chair and the Abdominal Imaging Section Chief at UCSF, a past president of the Society of Uroradiology (now the Society of Abdominal Radiology (SAR)), a fellow in the SAR, the American Society of Emergency Radiology, the European Society of Urogenital Radiology and the American College of Radiology. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Emergency Radiology.
