Synopsis: Pelvic vein embolisation is an increasingly performed intervention for pelvic vein reflux. This may be part of a complex presentation of leg varicose veins or indeed part of Pelvic Congestion Syndrome. We take a look at the iliac vein anatomy required to perform PVE and the most common indications. Basic techniques and tips are discussed to reduce the learning curve and achieve the most successful clinical outcomes
