Synopsis: At the beginning of this lecture a brief overview of [18F]FDG PET/CT role in oncogynaecological imaging will be presented. For the first part of a presentation, challenges regarding interpreting physiological metabolic activity of organs in a pelvic cavity will be covered, as some organs might overlap or mimic the spread of the disease. Most common pitfalls will be explained, as inaccurate interpretation might lead to insufficient or incorrect disease management. For the second part of my lecture the role of dual point PET/CT scanning, alongside our own experience, regarding mentioned technique, will be covered. Clinical cases will be presented demonstrating the added clinical importance of delayed phase imaging. Future role of radiomics in oncogynaecological imaging will be presented.

This agenda item is presented in the following session: S8-2 Obs and Gynecological Radiology
