Synopsis: 3D radiography is a relatively new radiodiagnostic method that uses a cone shaped beam (CBCT) to visualize small joints in three anatomical planes. This presentation gives an overview of the pros and cons of CBCT, compares the radiation doses with MSCT and introduces the Multitom Rax by Siemens Healthineers, which offers this new examining method in addition to conventional x-rays.

This agenda item is presented in the following session: S6-5 Conventional Radiography & CT
