Biography: Kristina Lotִamõis is cardiologist at the Radiology Center, Angiography department and Cardiac and peripheral interventions Heart Center of East Tallinn Central Hospital, also at the Department of the Emergency Cardiology of Tartu University Hospital Heart Clinic. She passed trainings in invasive cardiology (coronary angioplasty) at East-Tallinn Central Hospital, Riga Stradins University Hospital and Tartu University Hospital; training in stroke thrombectomy at East Tallinn Central Hospital.

Synopsis: Growing knowledge about vascular ethiopathology with expanding options to treat and prevent vascular disease is giving opportunity to help whole new group of patients but may be opened the Pandora box to medicine system. One way out is evidence based medicine, multidistcipilnary teams and specialised ambulatory solutions. This lecture presents some points of newest guidelines, new Vascular cabinet in East Tallinn Central Hospital and some preliminary results of Rotarex/thrombolsis follow-up study.
