Baltic-Ukrainian Atherosclerosis Conference 2023

Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate at the Baltic - Ukrainian Atherosclerosis Conference, which will take place on 09.-10.11.2023. in Tallinn, Estonia.

The organizers of joint conference are Baltic Atherosclerosis Society and the Ukrainian Atherosclerosis Society, with support of Estonian Society of Cardiology and Ukrainian Association of Cardiology. The conference is endorsed by European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) and International Atherosclerosis Society (IAS).

The conference will be held in hybrid format in Tallinn on 10.11.2023 at Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel (Fr. R. Kreutzwaldi 23), will be preceded by Conference pre-session „Familial hypercholesterolemia round-table" (on-site event only) on 09.11.23 (same venue).

We expect to host 200 on-site participants and up to 500 virtual participants, all lectures will be recorded and up-loaded to the conference web-site for presentation "on-demand" (providing unique pesonalized access for registered participants, the preregistration is obligatory).

All presentations of the main conference day 10.11.23 will be translated into Ukrainian language.
The programme of the Congress should help practitioners to find answers to the questions they are facing in their daily work. Our activities are focused on clinically oriented primary and secondary prevention.

The main subjects of the conference are:

Personal prevention of atherosclerosis

Diagnosis and treatment of familial hypercholesterolemia

Biological treatment of dyslipidemia - PCSK9 inhibitors and inclisiran

Prevention of atherosclerosis and heart failure in patients with type 2 diabetes

Familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) registries in Baltic countries

This time we organize hybrid event with possibility to gather in Tallinn. For registered delegates, who can not gather on-site, we will open virtual window to follow conference live stream and invite them to participate via interactive app with Q/A sessions and networking possibility.

Virtual (on-line) participation is free of charge, the preregistration before 07.11.23 is obligatory.
Attendance at the Conference awards 8 CME credits (valid to on-site and on-line participants on 10.11.23, does not apply to the follow-up of presentations )
