Baltic Atherosclerosis Conference 2021

Conference presenters stressed out the importance of the the dedicated work in the field of cardiovascular prevention and atheroslerosis. A new era in the treatment of atherosclerosis has been brought about by the biological drugs PCSK9 inhibitors and inclusiran. For the first time, drugs for the prevention and treatment of heart failure and vascular calcification are available for diabetics.
